While there is a comprehensive questline available in-game, this guide is intended to provide a more easily digestable summary of progression, as well as share some useful tips and tricks. Much of the information here is alternatively available in-game or on the Modrinth page.
Disclaimer
The modpack is still in alpha, and thus is very incomplete. While most major bugs have been ironed out, you are bound to find more. Difficulty balance is also iffy despite numerous playtests. All feedback and bug reports are welcome in the Discord!
Installation
Downloading and installing the modpack should be fairly straightforward, and can be done in any launcher that supports Modrinth's mrpack format (however, Prism Launcher is recommended). Upon launching the game for the first time, you'll be met with a popup instructing you to download a selection of restrictively licensed FTB mods. If it does not appear or the download buttons do not function, links are provided below:
FTB Library / FTB Quests / FTB Teams / FTB XMod Compat
Place them all in your instance's mods folder.
Inventory Management
Craft crates for mass storage of single items, and backpacks to extend your inventory capacity. Later down the line, you can use network controllers to automatically manage item sorting and transport.
Portal Quirks
Entities are unable to travel through portals when riding or being ridden; they must be dismounted before entry. This includes but is not limited to aerbunnies and aircraft.
The Aether
Navigating the skies can be daunting, but don't fret; there are plenty of ways you can keep yourself from plummeting to your doom. Interact with aerbunnies to wear them on your head, granting you slow falling and weak midair jumps; these buffs will relieve you of fall damage entirely.
Runeworking
Runes are a powerful method of improving your abilities, allowing you a choice of stat improvements and special buffs at the cost of an accessory slot. Among the most beneficial runes are those that provide a speed bonus or natural health regeneration. Totem poles also provide similar buffs in a limited area, trading portability for cost effectiveness.
